The Value of Process Integration

Process integration can help companies solve the interoperability problem by giving different applications a way to link their data. A web services-based API makes it easy to integrate CMW Platform with any third-party systems and services, for example, MS Outlook, MS Active Directory, Salesforce® or SurveyGizmo.

Common Integration Examples

• Launching a business process in CMW Platform when a trigger event happens in a different system, such as ERP, CRM, Accounting, HRIS, etc. 
• Pushing the approved request information into the accounting system (QuickBooks®, Xero, SAP® solution, etc.).
• Maintaining a single version of the latest data across all systems.
• Viewing the status of a business process from another system (e.g. MS Outlook).
• Pushing process status or other data from CMW Platform to third-party tools to trigger external service actions, e.g. eSigning a contract via DocuSign® or sending a newsletter via MailChimp®.
• Posting a document to a document management system (Microsoft SharePoint, Google Drive™, DocuWare, etc.).
• Posting messages to Slack® channels based on process events
• Using chatbot as a conversational interface able to gather all the necessary information from a customer in a friendly manner and launch a proper request handling process in CMW Platform.

Ready-made Integrations

Whether you want to use a pre-built integration or build your own, CMW Platform has all you need.

Pre-built integrations:

• Microsoft Outlook. You can manage all your tasks within the CMW Platform as an email management software.
• Microsoft Active Directory (AD). You can ensure that AD is automatically synchronized with the CMW Platform user database (upon adding or deactivating users, and such), so your administrators have to update only AD.
• Microsoft SharePoint. You can create or modify your processes with drag-and-drop simplicity in CMW Platform , and your company staff can submit requests in the familiar SharePoint environment.
• You also get sample integrations with Salesforce and SurveyGizmo so you don’t have to start from scratch.
