She opens the interface and clicks the \u201cNew Accounts Payable\u201d button. In the appeared form, several fields need to be filled in:<\/p>

\r\n\u2022 title \u2013 \u201cJune 2013 electricity for main distillery\u201d;
\r\n\u2022 department \u2013 \u201cMain distillery\u201d;
\r\n\u2022 supervisor \u2013 her direct boss, James Edwards;
\r\n\u2022 supplier name \u2013 \u201cWired Electricity\u201d (Lisa just selects this value, because it was registered before \u2013 during signing of the contract);
\r\n\u2022 invoice \u2013 again, just select the existing approved invoice;
\r\n\u2022 total amount and currency \u2013 data from invoice;
\r\n\u2022 description \u2013 how many kilowatt-hours the distillery has used in June and some related information, if necessary.\r\n<\/p>
\r\n

Lisa saves the newly created account payable and clicks\u00a0 \u201cNext Step \u2013 Proceed to Invoice Validation\u201d. James, Lisa\u2019s boss, automatically receives the notification that he is now required to undertake a task. He opens the same object\u2019 form\u2026Let me pause here for a little \u2013 please note, that he sees exactly the same information as Lisa \u2013 the object is shared among all people who are involved in the process. So you can leave comments using the \u201cDiscussion\u201d tab, attach files, change fields values, etc. And everyone will receive notification about it and can view the current object state by simply clicking the link from the notification \u2013 that\u2019s a perfect example of collaboration. By the way, all your and other peoples actions on accounts payable (as well, as on others objects) are tracked and can be viewed later in the \u201cHistory\u201d tab of the object\u2019 form.\r\n<\/p>

Back to the story \u2013 James checks that Lisa has filled in the accounts payable request correctly. He has several options:\r\n<\/p>
\r\n

\r\n\u2022 return the request back to Lisa for clarification;
\r\n\u2022 defer the payment;
\r\n\u2022 reject the payment;
\r\n\u2022 advance the account payable request to the next step \u2013 \u201cServices Approval\u201d.
\r\n<\/p>
\r\n

\r\nWhen he approves the request, he automatically sends it to Bob Stewart \u2013 the chief electrician. Bob can track his current tasks in the \u201cMy Active Tasks\u201d list in Comindware Tracker<\/a> \u2013 and he sees that he must approve the account payable. He clicks the \u201cNext Step \u2013 Approve\u201d button. Now the request is approved and it is returned back to Lisa for actual payment.
\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\nLisa proceeds with the payment and closes the object using the \u201cNext Step – Paid\u201d button. It is very convenient to register accounts payables in Comindware Tracker.
