I am so ashamed that I actually learned about this only a few months ago. The concept itself was presented and successfully works since 2001.<\/p> \r\n\r\n<p><!--more-->\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cmwlab.com\/platform\/try\/\" onclick=\"ga('send', 'event', 'abtest', 'platform-banner-click');\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"pl-banner\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cmwlab.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/cmw-platform-banner.png\" class=\"img-fluid my-5\" alt=\"CMW Platform banner\" title=\"CMW Platform banner\"><\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-indent:10px;\">Extreme collaboration means \u201c<em>working with an electronic and social environment to maximize communication and information flow<\/em>\u201d. And here are several good practices for fostering a culture of extreme collaboration (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gartner.com\/newsroom\/id\/2267115\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">according to Gartner<\/a>):<\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>1. use virtual, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cmwlab.com\/blog\/online-collaboration-tips\/\">online collaboration tools<\/a> instead of traditional ones (such as face-to-face meetings or email);<\/li>\r\n<li>2. make your virtual collaboration real-time;<\/li>\r\n<li>3. use crowdsourcing to force collaboration;<\/li>\r\n<li>4. change reward systems to encourage collaboration;<\/li>\r\n<li>5. use social network analysis to measure the collaborative behavior of teams;<\/li>\r\n<li>6. plan group events to kick-start real-time communication and collaboration.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-indent:10px;\">So \u2013 why do you need to adopt the XC culture in your organization? According to Stanford studies, XC is naturally designed and evolved to effectively manage the knowledge network itself. Thus, if you will successfully adopt XC, your team members will find ways to improve your business processes without any external intervention. You won&#8217;t even need any consultation from business process specialists \u2013 your team members will have enough knowledge to make improvements themselves.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-indent:10px;\">OK \u2013 now I know what extreme collaboration is.
